SILVER JUBILEE

prewar and postwar

The Silver Jubilee is available in etch kit form as well as ready to run in either the 7 coach formation or with the strengthener added making 8 coaches. For those who want to build the Triplet Dining set in the BR period this will be put together in the New Year in the magazine British Railway Modelling by Tony Wright with a picture assembly guide which will form the basis of the instruction sheets of how to do it. The etches are drawn as pre war but should you wish to have the post war period then an extra under-frame etch is available all you have to do is ask for it. There is no extra charge for this etch. There are also the window selection etches which come with every kit which allows for the window to ''stand'' out of the side of the coach. Etch detail (c) DBS/Marcmodels 2005

Each kit comes with all etch parts numbered to refer to the diagram and special jigs for that particular coach, All other parts such as wheels and bogies both lengths, pinpoint bearings and a brass etched truck, door hinges built onto the window drop-light to allow for perfect alignment when soldering into place behind the side. Tables fit into slots in the floor to save location problems are also included as well is a shaped brass roof . No paint or transfers are supplied with any kit.

The price of any one coach is £50.00 plus the cost of the stamp no packaging charges are made. So you do not have to buy all in one go I am happy to supply any one coach to your timetable of build rather than you having to buy the lot in one go. Etch detail (c) DBS/Marcmodels 2005

The kits are available for purchase other than the Triplet Diner for despatch within a 28 day period from time of ordering.

The cost of any ready to run coach is £240.00 a coach or £1900 for the full set of 8

These etches have been created using the Isinglass Model Drawings as a reference.
